The Korean War (1950-1953)
1948 - Korea was split into North and South Korea. North Korea was communist and South Korea was democratic.
1949 - China became communist when forces led by Mao Zedong gained control and established People's Republic of China. When the UN came to China's border China sent out 250,000 troop to support North Korea.
1950 - On June 25 North Korea attacked South Korea with 75,000 troops.
On July United Nations or United sates helped South Korea making North Korea back up almost to the Chinese border. The war continued back and forth and neither side could get the advantage.
Later United Sates sent out.
1950-1952 - The war continued and no one could get the advantage and many people died.
1953 - No one won the war and since Korean was split into two, North Korea and South Korea leaving 5 million soldier dead civilians dead.
